Mahindra-Renault Logan now with ABS and more…

Mahindra Renault Pvt. Ltd. (MRPL) today launched the ‘New Collection Logan’, an all new line-up of one of India’s most popular passenger cars. The New Collection retains the core strengths of the Logan while incorporating an array of exciting new features and greater luxury. The fully loaded ‘New Collection Logan’ is available for Rs. 5.02 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai) and replaces the existing Logan range in showrooms throughout the country.

Hyundai Launches LPG Santro in India

Hyundai Motor India Ltd., the country’s largest passenger car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer, as part of its initiative to promote eco-friendly and non polluting means of transport, has launched the much-awaited LPG version of its flagship brand Santro. The LPG variant will be priced Rs 21,500 more than the existing petrol model. The new LPG version of Santro, christened Santro eco (eco is synonymous with environmentally friendly and economy) comes with a factory fitted LPG kit and boasts of features that meet global standards of performance and safety.

Ferrari bike on the cards?

Attempts at developing a Ferrari motorcycle have been many, but what I came across a few days back may well be the closest that anyone has gotten close to a working model or a prototype example. History books have pages that celebrate Ferrari’s motorcycling efforts. In the 1950s, Alfredo Ferrari raced specially developed motorcycles while in 1970s, performance and precision firm, Kay Engineering produced a one-off example to honour Enzo Ferrari. Then there was a chopper designed by legendary designer Arlen Ness in the 1980s. One Mr. Michael Schumacher was presented with a Scuderia Ferrari chopper at his retirement.
